With aggressive expansion plans and a solid operating platform, they are searching for a visionary General Manager to spearhead their franchise operations in Bahrain and possibly elsewhere.
This is a remote-first leadership role, providing an innovative opportunity to influence brand strategies, improve customer experience, and direct cross-functional teams in a fast-changing food retail landscape.

Your Role as General Manager
As General Manager, you will be the operational and strategic leader of all F&B franchise businesses. Directly reporting to the executive board, you will be fully responsible for profitability, growth strategy, team development, and brand performance.
You’ll be expected to lead by example, applying your deep experience in F&B operations, financial control, and multi-unit management to elevate performance, efficiency, and guest satisfaction across all restaurant units.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term strategies to support sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Drive budgeting, P&L ownership, and financial forecasting across all franchise outlets.
Analyze business performance data to implement operational improvements and maximize ROI.
Negotiate with landlords, suppliers, and franchise partners to drive cost savings and value creation.
Operational Management
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple F&B units, upholding operational standards and brand compliance.
Manage new restaurant openings, such as pre-opening plans, team hiring, training, and launch execution.
Establish and track KPIs for operations, service delivery, food quality, customer complaints, and staff performance.
Work with cross-functional departments (marketing, HR, finance, and procurement) to align.
Team Leadership & Development
Coach, mentor, and lead a team of Restaurant Managers, Area Managers, and frontline employees.
Develop a culture of performance through clear accountability, recognition, and ongoing learning.
Spot talent gaps and facilitate succession planning to create a robust leadership pipeline.
⚖️ Compliance & Quality Assurance
Implement total compliance with food safety legislations, franchise brand requirements, and local licensing regulations.
Regularly carry out operational audits and institute corrective action plans.
Monitor and implement health, hygiene, and safety procedures throughout all stores.
❤️ Customer Experience & Brand Engagement
Drive guest experience through service standards and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Launch loyalty, delivery, and CRM programs that increase customer engagement and brand reputation.
Keep current with consumer trends and consumer wants to maintain the freshness and competitiveness of the brand offer.

Minimum 10–12 years of F&B experience, with a minimum of 5 years of multi-unit leadership (Area Manager, Operations Director, or GM roles).
Strategic experience in managing restaurant pre-openings, operational scale-up, and brand launches.
Strategic experience in GCC is highly desirable given regional dynamics and consumer behavior understanding.

Expertise in restaurant operations, food costs, supply chain, and inventory management.
Financially sophisticated with a background in budget management, P&L, and forecasting.
Strong negotiation expertise, especially with landlords, vendors, and franchise licensees.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on leadership approach.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
