Position Overview-UAE Principal Engineer Jobs 2025
The .NET Developer/Software Engineer will be an integral part of our ICT Team and will be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-level applications based on Microsoft .NET technologies. The ideal candidate is a meticulous and innovative professional with the ability to interpret intricate business needs into high-performing, scalable, and secure software systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and associated frameworks. You will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional technical teams to build solid solutions in line with our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Design & Development
Create, develop, and support web, desktop, and API-based applications utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
Engage in discussions on architecture, suggest scalable design solutions, and play a role in system optimization plans.
Translate functional and technical specifications into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Guarantee compliance with industry-standard coding conventions and secure development practices.
Work with other developers to create maintainable, testable, and high-performance software components.
- .NET Application Development
Create applications based on Microsoft .NET frameworks, focusing on .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.
Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and internal systems using APIs and web services.
Construct and sustain RESTful APIs and microservices to enable cross-system interoperability.
Deploy authentication, authorization, and data protection controls to secure applications.
Tune applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across environments.
- Application Maintenance & Enhancement
Diagnose and fix software problems across development, staging, and production environments.
Deploy system updates, feature updates, and performance tuning as needed.
Collaborate with support and QA teams to validate stability and reliability of released systems.
Continuously evaluate current applications and suggest modernization plans employing new technologies.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure functionality and performance validation.
Work together with QA engineers in developing and running test cases against acceptance criteria.
Utilize automated testing frameworks and tools whenever possible to enhance testing effectiveness.
Ensure that deliverables are of the highest level of quality and security prior to deployment.
- Documentation & Version Control
Create and keep technical documentation such as system architecture, workflow, and code specification.
Use Git or Azure DevOps to store code repositories and have version control and traceability.
Participate in release management processes through having clear historical records of software versions and change logs.
Assist with knowledge-sharing programs through documenting best practices and reusable pieces of code.
- Collaboration & Teamwork
Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other software developers in order to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
Actively engage in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Offer technical guidance and assistance to junior developers and new team members.
Eloquent communication with stakeholders for mutual understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Keep abreast of the newest developments in .NET frameworks, cloud computing, and development tools.
Suggest new methodologies, architectures, and technologies to improve development speed and software performance.
Support automation projects and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline optimization.
Engage in code reviews and in-house training sessions to foster learning and innovation culture.
Qualifications & Experience- UAE Principal Engineer Jobs 2025
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience developing software with Microsoft .NET technologies.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC frameworks.
Deep familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
Acquaintance with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, or Angular/React will be beneficial.
Awareness of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS desired.
Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control system.
Knowledge of software security principles and practices.
Soft Skills:
