The Opportunity: What You’ll Do-Best California Jobs 2025

As a Recruitment Manager in our Property & Construction practice, you will be responsible for leading a team, growing client relationships, and generating revenue. It is a 360° role, so you will be responsible for managing both client acquisition and candidate placement as well as managing a team of recruitment professionals.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

Team Leadership

Lead a team of Recruitment Consultants, handling day-to-day activities and supporting them in individual and team KPIs.

Hold weekly one-on-ones, performance feedback, and team meetings.

Offer ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to equip consultants with skills and achieve targets.

Promote a competitive and collaborative team culture of learning, performance, and mutual success.

Business Development

Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities within the Property & Construction industry.

Perform market mapping and competitive analysis to discern industry trends and positioning.

Establish and nurture strong client relationships with consultative selling techniques and regular follow-up.

Sell recruitment solutions to new clients and negotiate commercial terms and service terms.

Recruitment Delivery

Oversee the entire recruitment life cycle: from job brief, sourcing, and interviewing through offer negotiation and post-placement aftercare.

Create and maintain a pipeline of top-quality candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, job boards, internal CRM, and other sources.

Perform rigorous candidate interviews and thoroughly evaluate technical and soft skills.

Align candidates with appropriate job openings and handle expectations on both sides to complete a successful placement.

Client & Candidate Relationship Management

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing industry intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy guidance.

Build strong continuing relationships with clients and placed candidates to foster repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications & Experience-Best California Jobs 2025

Minimum 5 years of full-desk recruitment experience (handling both candidate placement and client development).

Proven experience managing or mentoring a team of recruiters or account managers.

Track record of consistently exceeding sales or placement targets.

Strong business development and prospecting skills—you’re energized by creating new opportunities.

Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, and leading job boards.

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.
