We want to hire a Commercial Manager – Franchise Partner Management to manage and lead commercial success in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (MEAPAC) regions for an internationally well-known beauty retailer. You will have the responsibility to manage franchise partners, push season performance analysis, and be of assistance in long-term strategic decisions that directly affect the profitability and market share of the company in top international markets.

Key Accountabilities
Your role as Commercial Manager will be to lead data-driven commercial decisions, enhance franchise partner performance, and play a part in the long-term profitability and expansion of the business in a complex and diverse regional environment.


  • Commercial Planning & Analysis
  • Manage the seasonal commercial review process for MEA and APAC, involving comprehensive sales, price, margin, and range analysis.
  • Analyze product performance by partner and market to determine over- and under-performing categories and SKUs.
  • Track sell-out vs. sell-in dynamics, applying data to make more precise assortment strategies and better predict future demand.
  • Pricing & Assortment Strategy
  • Work with regional Business Managers to establish and maintain wholesale and Max RRP pricing hierarchies by market.
  • Perform competitive benchmarking and pricing elasticity tests to maintain margin goals while not affecting brand position.
  • Offer business justification for new product launches, driving inclusion decisions by profitability, market relevance, and partner readiness.
  • Partner Performance Management
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with franchise partners within MEAPAC as a trusted advisor and commercial strategic lead.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with every partner, delivering insights and making actionable recommendations to maximize sales performance.
  • Support markets with local trading calendars and promotion planning, consistent with global brand campaigns and regional objectives.
  • Inventory & Order Management
  • Launch stock optimization programs, assisting partners in rationalizing slow-moving SKUs and minimizing excess inventory levels.
  • Create and distribute seasonal order forms, guaranteeing product and price accuracy at every touchpoint.
  • Sell-through and weeks of cover analysis to inform more intelligent inventory allocation and replenishment plans.
  • Team Leadership
  • Line-manage and build an Assistant Commercial Manager, ensuring prompt delivery of seasonal tasks, data reporting accuracy, and development in functional capabilities.
  • Promote a high-performance culture founded on collaboration, learning, and commercial excellence.
  • Strategic Initiatives
  • Help drive live business transformation initiatives, such as system improvements, process automation, and improvement in commercial governance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for global commercial teams on a regional basis, articulating MEAPAC insights and championing market-relevant approaches and resources.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re seeking a commercially astute, analytically robust, and culturally adaptable professional with the proven capability to lead franchise partnerships in a variety of regions. You will be someone who performs well in a high-speed, matrix organization, who gets satisfaction from dissecting tricky commercial problems, and is enthusiastic about driving value for the brand and its partners.

Key Requirements

At least 5 years’ retail or consumer goods experience, preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industries.

Strong background in franchise partner management, commercial planning, or category/brand management.

Strong commercial analytics skills, with ease working with extensive datasets and interpreting insights from software like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance functions.

Regional Knowledge

Hard exposure to MEA markets is a requirement. APAC exposure is strongly desired but not necessary.

Demonstrated skill to manage regional complexities — from cultural subtlety and consumer attitudes to partner relationships and economic climates.

Essential Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to drive internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent project management and organizational ability, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deliver against aggressive deadlines.

Leadership skills, with experience in developing junior staff and creating a high-performance team culture.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or an allied discipline. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
