Arabic and Islamic Teaching assistant:
We seek a dedicated and committed Arabic & Islamic Teaching Assistant to assist in the teaching of Arabic language and Islamic Studies in accordance with the UAE Ministry of Education guidelines. The position is an integral component in fostering students’ knowledge of their heritage, enhancing national identity, and educating them in respect for values and customs of the nation.
In this role, you will collaborate with Arabic and Islamic Studies instructors to help with lesson planning, classroom teaching, and student interactions. You will help students read, write, speak, and understand Arabic, as well as instruct them on essential Islamic teachings in a manner that is respectful and suitable for their age.
You will also be a key in promoting the respect of UAE and Islamic culture to the school community. This could involve assisting in planning and supporting Islamic celebrations, national events, and religious observances. You will also help maintain and keep the lesson materials and other admin tasks in order as necessary.
This position calls for excellent written and oral Arabic skills, as well as a sound grasp of Islamic teachings, values, and traditions. The successful applicant should be a supportive, responsible, and effective communicator who can engage with pupils and staff from a range of cultural backgrounds.
