The Opportunity: Sales Executive – Midwest
This position is ideal for a strategic, results-driven sales expert who excels in a solution-based, field sales setting. You will be charged with developing and maintaining a strong book of business in the Midwest territory—focusing on clients in metal fabrication, industrial machinery, and manufacturing markets.
As a major commercial leader in the region, you’ll be able to map your strategy, prospect and close new business, build long-term relationships, and be the voice of the customer internally. Your job is both strategic and hands-on—entailing a blend of client-facing sales activity, market intelligence, and internal collaboration to customize solutions.

As a Midwest Sales Executive, your main assignment is to generate revenue and build long-term customer relationships. You will:
Business Development & Territory Growth
Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to expand the company’s market share within the Midwest.
Identify, pursue, and bring on board new customers in primary industrial verticals—specifically metal fabrication, manufacturing, and machinery services.
Tap into industry networks, referrals, and market intelligence to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
Relationship Management
Establish and sustain long-term relationships with clients by using a consultative and value-based sales strategy.
Position oneself as a customer advisor, knowing the customer’s problems and aligning company offerings to address their most important challenges.
Sales Cycle Management
Guide the full sales cycle—first contact and discovery through solution creation, proposal presentation, and contract negotiation.
Work with internal operations, product, and support groups to ensure seamless implementation and superior client results.
Market Insights & Strategy
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to determine areas of growth and innovation opportunities.
Report important market data, issues, and sales performance to management, informing company strategy and customer service projects.
Performance Tracking
Keep accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and CRM documentation up to date.
Utilize data to review performance and modify strategies to ensure you are consistently meeting or beating your sales goals.
Industry Engagement
Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, client functions, and industry networking events to promote brand awareness and market intelligence.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious sales professional with a background in industrial sales or business services, preferably in the metal fabrications or machinery industry. You prefer to work independently, make long-term complex sales, and assist clients in finding tangible solutions to real-world problems.

Industry Experience:
Demonstrated sales experience selling to the industrial, manufacturing, or metalworking environment is mandatory. Experience with machinery, fabrication, or technical service products is most desirable.
Sales Track Record:
Consistent record of beating sales targets, gaining new business, and maintaining high-value customer accounts.
Self-Management:
Proven track record of working remotely with little supervision yet remaining highly accountable and results-driven.
Client-Centric Mindset:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and listening, influencing, and trust-building abilities with technical and executive-level customers.
Business Acumen:
The ability to develop a keen sense of market forces, customer purchasing behavior, and the skills required to adapt services for various business demands.
Communication Skills:

Preferred Background:

Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary + Bonus:
Solid base salary with up to double pay opportunities via performance bonuses. OTE between $150,000 to $250,000 based on experience and sales performance.
