Role Summary
The Director of Communications & Content will be the strategic architect and implementation leader for the company’s external and internal communications. The role is mission-critical and a leadership position tasked with defining the company’s voice, narrative, and positioning—locally in Riyadh and regionally throughout the Kingdom.
The Director will drive the creation of high-impact content, storytelling, and brand messaging that aligns with:
- Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives
- National digital transformation objectives
- The company’s expanding product and service portfolio
- The increasing expectations of varied stakeholders, ranging from government partners to the public and private sector clients

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications Leadership
Create and implement multi-channel communication strategies in support of organizational objectives and Vision 2030.
Ensure communications are aligned with the tone, mission, and values of the brand, yet agile enough to suit different audience segments (government, tech industry, public).
Collaborate for leadership in thought positioning in national conversations regarding AI, smart cities, digital services, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with C-suite and department heads to develop strategic messaging, press materials, corporate stories, and policy-conforming content.
The position demands a visionary communicator with knowledge of both the regional environment and the strategic worth of brand storytelling in a competitive digital environment.
- Content Development & Distribution
Manage the creation of high-quality, compelling content in formats and across platforms:
Web
Social Media (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Press releases, speeches, op-eds
Internal communications and newsletters
Presentations for stakeholders and public events
Develop an editorial calendar linked to national milestones, campaigns, and digital transformation themes.
Ensure content is Saudi-Relevant to the Riyadh tech ecosystem and maximizes the company’s influence.
The Director will need to be able to craft stories that resonate with Saudi citizens, government stakeholders, and the worldwide innovation community.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development
Mentor and lead a team of communications, PR, and content experts, developing capabilities in storytelling, media, and digital strategy.
Develop a high-performance culture committed to creativity, agility, and outcomes.
Give instruction on crisis communications, media response, and sensitive content writing.
Establish performance KPIs and fund team professional development.
Leadership is also an integral aspect of this job — the Director will be required to work towards mentoring the next generation of Saudi leadership in communications themselves.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, making certain all messaging is consistent and aligned to support organizational goals overall.
Work closely with the technology, product, strategy, and HR teams in messaging alignment on projects, launches, recruitment, and culture.
Align internal communications strategies with external brand positioning to support company values.
Support close relationships with government stakeholders, press agencies, and industry partners to facilitate proactive engagement.
Achievement in this position requires diplomacy, political savvy, and significant influence in cross-functional settings.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
Leverage data and analytics to measure the performance of communication campaigns.
Track engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and media visibility to optimize messaging and strategy.
Report on brand impact, campaign performance, and reputation metrics to senior leadership on a regular basis.
Keep pace with industry trends, embracing best practices in digital storytelling, platform targeting, and audience segmentation.
Being data-driven and impact-focused is essential for driving continuous improvement and resource alignment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Background & Experience
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, digital media, or content strategy.
Important experience in the technology, innovation, or public sector domains.
Demonstrated success driving multi-platform communication strategies with national visibility or public policy influence.
Solid working understanding of the Saudi communications environment, cultural dynamics, and government-related stakeholder management.
Record of team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and media relationship management.
Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree (at least) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Native level English and Arabic speaking — outstanding writing, editing, and presentation skills in both languages.
A thorough knowledge of content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media trends, and digital publishing tools.
Excellent project management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and timelines concurrently.
A confident spokesperson with on-camera or public speaking experience desirable.
